Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to social media to announce his marriage to Georgina Rodriguez, sharing a touching image that showcases their wedding rings. The post featured a simple yet meaningful caption: "C❤️G," which quickly garnered millions of likes from fans around the world.
According to reports from A Bola, the wedding took place in secrecy at a location in Cascais, a coastal town approximately 32 kilometers west of Lisbon, Portugal. The intimate ceremony was attended by their five children, marking a significant family moment.
Prior to the wedding, speculation circulated about a potential ceremony near the Funchal Church, where Ronaldo was born. However, it turned out to be a misunderstanding, as that event was unrelated to Ronaldo and Georgina.
The couple has been together since 2016, having met while Ronaldo was playing for Real Madrid and Georgina was working at a fashion store in Madrid. They announced their engagement a year ago, and Ronaldo chose to marry just four days before the start of the 2026/27 season with Al Nassr.
Ronaldo, born in 1985, has had an illustrious career, scoring nearly 1,000 goals for clubs including Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Al Nassr, as well as the Portuguese national team. Throughout his career, he has won nearly every title available, with the World Cup being the most coveted trophy that eludes him.
