Katleen Phan Võ's Dream Wedding in Malaysia

Katleen Phan Võ's Dream Wedding in Malaysia

Katleen Phan Võ, a prominent Vietnamese actress, recently tied the knot in a lavish ceremony held in Malaysia, following a traditional wedding in Ho Chi Minh City on June 6. The wedding was marked by special customs from her husband Yuen Shiuan's Chinese heritage, showcasing a blend of cultures.

The bride wore an intricately embroidered wedding dress with a train nearly 10 meters long, captivating guests as she walked down the aisle. Katleen expressed her joy, stating, "I am happy to have my close friends and colleagues by my side on this joyous day, despite the wedding being held far from home. Everyone made an effort to be present."

The wedding took place at a five-star hotel, where Yuen Shiuan welcomed Katleen into the ceremony, followed by a wine-opening ritual to honor their parents. The couple later changed into modern wedding attire, with Katleen donning a silk gown adorned with lace and a sweeping train.

During the ceremony, Katleen and Yuen exchanged vows in front of hundreds of guests. Katleen declared her love for Yuen, praising his efforts to be the best version of himself. They promised to support and care for each other, nurturing their marriage with respect and calmness.

Adding a cultural touch to the celebration, Katleen performed a dance inspired by the fusion of Vietnamese and Chinese traditions. The couple's journey began three years ago, culminating in a proposal during a trip to a snowy mountain in Canada in June 2025. Katleen, 29, is the daughter of renowned martial arts master Nam Anh and 1992 Film Beauty Queen Thanh Xuân.

She returned to Vietnam in 2017 after living in Canada, initially working as a translator for martial artist Flores. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for acting, leading her to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, supported by her parents. Katleen gained recognition after starring in the successful film "Lật mặt 4" in 2019 and has since appeared in several projects, including "Võ sinh đại chiến" and "Táo Quậy."
