Mondelez Kinh Do’s Tet program benefits underprivileged children

HCMC – Mondelez Kinh Do has rolled out a community program called “See Kinh Do, Give Tet” to bring a meaningful and warm Tet to disadvantaged children across the country.

With the hope of bringing joy and happiness to poor children during the Lunar New Year holiday, or Tet, the firm has designed various activities through the social program to benefit over 1,000 disadvantaged children.

As part of the program, Mondelez Kinh Do has donated thousands of gift sets, including toys, stationery, warm clothes and confectionery products, to the beneficiaries to help them enjoy Tet.

Mondelez Kinh Do set aside 10% of its revenue from sales on the special day, December 12, on two e-commerce platforms, Lazada and Shopee, to fund this program.

“Giving and sharing is an integral part of Vietnam’s traditions, so Kinh Do always manages to keep our traditions and values alive. We hope that our small act will bring happiness and warmth to needy children at the beginning of the year and lighten up their Tet holiday,” said Sameer Yadav, marketing director of Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam.

In pursuit of sustainable business development in Vietnam, Mondelez Kinh Do has constantly been making positive and persistent contributions to the community over the years.

Since the beginning of 2022, Mondelez Kinh Do has donated more than 17,000 boxes of confectionery with a total value of more than VND9.6 billion to the community in cooperation with Food Bank Vietnam.
