HCMC – FPT Corporation has handed over 50 houses to poor households in HCMC on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday, or Tet.

These charitable houses are located in Hoa Phu, Phuoc Vinh An, Tan Thanh Tay, Tay Thanh Dong, Phu Hoa Dong and An Phu communes in the city’s outlying district of Cu Chi.

Besides, the firm has donated 50 gift sets to disadvantaged people to help them have a happier and warmer Tet.

The charitable homes handed over to poor households before Tet act as a small gift from FPT to spread love and hope for 2023, said a representative from FPT.

The social program is part of the “Happy House” initiative, which was launched by FPT and the Hope Foundation in September last year.

Until now, the initiative has completed building and repairing 100 houses worth VND6 billion for poor people.

As active contributors to the community, FPT and the Hope Foundation have implemented a variety of social programs and activities with a focus on underprivileged children and households and families of martyrs to build a better future for society.
