The VN-Index has recently crossed the 1850 threshold, with a notable influx of capital into blue-chip stocks, especially those listed in the VN30 index. This trend is observed amidst a broader decrease in market liquidity.
On the afternoon of September 4, 2026, trading on the HoSE stock exchange saw a 32.4% increase compared to the morning session, with 64.1% of the total trading value concentrated in the VN30 group. Statistics indicate that 15 stocks within this group experienced price improvements compared to their morning closing prices, resulting in a 1.19% increase in the VN30 index, following a 0.8% rise in the morning.
Among the stocks attracting the most impressive investment is VIC, which recorded an additional trading volume of over 1.114 trillion VND, marking a 39% increase from the morning session. The price of VIC rose by 0.83% compared to its morning closing, closing 4.74% higher than its reference price. This strong performance contributed over 19 points to the VN-Index, which saw a total increase of 25.36 points, while the VN30-Index added 11 points to its total rise of 23.
This robust activity in blue-chip stocks highlights investor confidence and suggests a potential rebound in the market, despite the overall liquidity challenges faced by the stock exchange.
