Samsung Venture Capital just invested in a Vietnamese startup

On June 21st, Yahoo Finance, Asia Technology, and Trading Street Asia reported that Samsung Ventures, a Samsung venture capital firm, had invested in wearable neuroscience.
The two companies did not disclose the investment amount, but Samsung Venture Capital stated that through this investment, the fund aims to help Earable expand the FRENZ Brainband smart sleep bracelet market globally, including South Korea.
According to Yahoo! Finance and financial investment indicate that venture capital funds have recognized the potential of Vietnamese startups in applying high-tech to sleep products, with a market value of $64 billion in 2021.

Yahoo! Finance quoted Professor Tam Vu, the CEO of Earable Vietnam, saying that the startup's vision is to apply neuroscience to daily life. This startup's product is the first intelligent wearable device to measure and activate the brain, helping people sleep better and concentrate during work.
Tech in Asia provides more information, and this wearable device holds 15 patents in the United States. Previously, the company raised $6.8 million in early funds from well-known funds such as Founder's Fund, Smile Gate Investment, and 500 Startups. The startup shared its plan to raise Series A capital in the fourth quarter of this year.
