Binh Duong starts work on VND1.5-trillion road upgrade project
HCMC – The Binh Duong government today, December 30, broke ground on a project to expand and upgrade Provincial Road 746 from the Tan Thanh T-junction in Bac Tan Uyen District to the Hoi Nghia T-junction in Tan Uyen Town, at a total cost of some VND1.5 trillion.

The 11.4-kilometer-long road will be widened to 38 meters to have six lanes and allow a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour, according to the Binh Duong Management Board of Investment and Construction of Traffic Projects, the investor of the project.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Binh Duong Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Danh said that the provincial road is a key route connecting Bac Tan Uyen District with other neighboring areas and a main link to the VSIP III industrial park and Beltway No. 4.

The project is expected to complete traffic infrastructure in the province, contribute to improving traffic safety and facilitate the transportation of goods, the local media reported.
