INSEE pours US$35.7-million into new cement grinding station

HCMC – INSEE Vietnam broke ground on the Thi Vai Cement grinding station 2 at the Phu My Industrial Park in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province on December 4, according to the local media.

This project requires an estimated US$35.7 million. This is the second time INSEE has invested such a large amount of money into the Thi Vai Cement Grinding Plant since 2003.

According to Eamon John Ginley, general director of INSEE Vietnam, the Thi Vai Cement grinding station 2 would help increase the production capacity and the product’s quality after its completion.

INSEE Vietnam developed the Thi Vai Cement Grinding station 1 with an investment of over US$50 million in 2003.

Those projects are part of INSEE Vietnam’s long-term investment in the southern region, contributing to the development of the cement industry in the country.

Since its establishment in 1994, INSEE Vietnam, formerly known as Holcim Vietnam, has become one of the leading cement, drymix, fiber-cement CONWOOD, and waste management companies in the south of Vietnam.
