Binh Dinh pours over VND2.6 trillion into key road projects

HCMC – Binh Dinh Province has approved two arterial road projects with a total investment of over VND2.659 trillion.

The first arterial road connecting National Highway 19C with Quy Nhon Port is around 6.35 kilometers long, starting at the Dieu Tri interchange in Tuy Phuoc District and ending at Nguyen Man Street in Quy Nhon City.

The project aims to complete the transportation infrastructure connecting the industrial zones of Phu Tai and Long My, Long Van-Long My urban areas, and the center of Quy Nhon City.

It will create favorable conditions for the development of urban areas along both sides of the road in the wards of Nhon Binh and Nhon Phu in Quy Nhon City.

The second project is the My Thanh-Lai Giang coast road section with the starting point in My Thanh Commune, Phu My District, and the ending point at Lai Giang Bridge in Hoai Nhon Town.

The over-38 kilometer-long road section is a part of the transportation infrastructure along the coast in Binh Dinh.

It is developed to ease the traffic congestion on National Highway 1A, boost the development of the blue economy, and link the infrastructure of key coastal economic zones, industrial parks, residential areas, urban areas, and eco-tourism areas in the province.

The two projects will be carried out in six years, from 2022 to 2027, with the investment from World Bank loans and the country’s reciprocal capital.
