NDO – A trade fair selling organic farm products and goods to serve demand for the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival, opened in Ho Chi Minh City, on January 27.
The event is jointly held by the Business Association of High-quality Vietnamese Goods, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Centre for Business Studies and Assistance.
Taking place until January 30, the fair features 50 booths, represented by more than 40 businesses, who offer visitors and customers hundreds of organic farm products and specialties of different regions, across the country.
The fair was designed as a shopping venue for Ho Chi Minh city residents ahead of Tet, while supporting farmers, cooperatives, craft villages and businesses, to boost their sales and advertise their products, at the Ho Chi Minh City market.
Many activities will be held within the framework of the fair, including a cuisine festival, a lucky draw, a photo contest, and the presentation of 30 gifts to disadvantaged households in district 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
