Ca Mau Launching network for young civil servants and officials

On April 4, Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee Le Quan met nearly 350 people who join in the young civil servants and officials network.


"This is a new model, without precedent to be deployed in other localities, but it is very necessary for the network of nearly 1,100 young officials and civil servants of Ca Mau", Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province emphasized.

At the meeting, Le Quan emphasized: "Officers are considered the backbone of all works, whether its success or failure is due to good or bad staff". According to Quan, the launch of the network of young civil servants and public employees of the province is voluntary, not administrative. This network will contribute to the administrative reform of civil servants and public employees; shorten the distance between leaders and provincial civil servants and public employees; promote young civil servants to have a look insight broader issues regarding their works.



Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee, Le Quan talked at the meeting of launching network for young civil servants and officials.

“Joining this network, young civil servants and public employees will be offered opportunities to exchange and access multi-dimensional information as well as better understand the affairs of the industry, locality, country, and region. They will also be trained, fostered, updated in expertise, profession, skills and have the opportunity to participate in the tasks of the locality, the sector and the province and many other opportunities ”, Quan added.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province said that in the coming time, Ca Mau province is determined to innovate, overcome difficulties and accelerate the economic restructuring of the province; marine economic development, sea direction; mobilize resources to develop renewable energy, clean and green energy; raising people's awareness of tourism development, cultural identity preservation and environmental protection; bring science, technology and technology to increase productivity and value chain; to restructure agriculture to take people's livelihood and security as the foundation for sustainable development ...

To realize this determination, the Ca Mau provincial government will focus on administrative reform and management quality; consider employment, people's income, health care development, education and vocational training as the core; take the people's power and resources of the business as the root. In addition, to focus on developing small and medium enterprises in the province, concurrently promoting the connection with the Central units to mobilize large investors to create infrastructure breakthroughs, increase local budgets.

According to Mr. Quan, one of the 5 tasks in the Resolution of the Sixth Provincial Party Congress, (term 2020 – 2025) is: Focusing on building a contingent of qualified, capable and prestigious public employees to respond to the requirements of the new stage. Strictly complying with regulations on the responsibility to set the good example of cadres, Party members, especially heads of committees, agencies and units. In addition, one of the three strategic breakthroughs of the province in the Resolution also stated “Improving the quality of human resources to meet the development requirements of the province; focus on training human resources, especially the contingent of cadres, civil servants and public employees to ensure inheritance, full qualities, capabilities and prestige, on a par with their duties ”. Therefore, the role of the contingent of cadres and civil servants of the province is especially important.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province also expects the contingent of civil servants, officials, especially young civil servants and public employees of the province to continue pioneering in the implementation of administrative reform, digital transformation, and continuous improvement of capacity, qualifications to meet task requirements in the new situation; strictly implement administrative discipline and discipline, further strengthen responsibility in advisory work.“The province attaches great importance and expectations to the contingent of cadres, civil servants, and especially the young team. This team needs expertise, skills (including soft skills) to adapt to the argument change, to the 4th industrial revolution, to the development of the country as well as the province”, Mr. Quan shared.

At the meeting, leaders of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province also spent a lot of time listening to employees’ thoughts, legitimate aspirations, comments, and contributions to solutions to improve the performance of the network of civil servants and public employees of the province; at the same time, responding to many issues raised by young civil servants and public employees.
