NDO – A delegation of leading tour operators from Mumbai (India) visited Da Nang city on August 5 and 6 as part of its fam trip to Vietnam from August 2 to 9.

A fam trip titled “the Best of Vietnam” gathered eight leading tour operators from Mumbai, including One Above, In Time, Tourister, Vinnaayak Holidays, Kesari Travels, Jain & Jain Travels, Whiteboard, and Plutus Voyages.

During their stay in Da Nang, the delegation enjoyed the city’s nightlife and explored the landmarks of Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge.

Targeting the high-end tour programmes for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) tourism, and weddings, the fam trip was arranged with high quality services and accommodated by the 5-star Furama Resort Da Nang.

According to Deputy Director of Da Nang City’s Tourism Department Nguyen Xuan Binh, the fam trip is expected to deepen the cultural and tourism linkage between India and Vietnam, especially Da Nang City.

Earlier, a programme introducing Da Nang City tourism was held on August 4 in New Delhi, India. The event was jointly held by the People’s Committee of Vietnam’s central city and Vietjet Air, aiming to popularise destinations and introducing the carrier’s direct air routes linking Da Nang and Indian cities.
