Son Tay Citadel, the fourth pedestrian space of Hanoi City, is 820 m long, with a total land area of ​​34,550 m2.

In front of the stadium is the place where 50-70 food stalls of Doai are located. In addition, families in this area can trade existing goods.

Cua Tien Bridge (Quang Trung – Nguyen Thai Hoc intersection) is the end point of the pedestrian street. For the convenience of people coming to the weekend entertainment, the pedestrian street of Son Tay town arranged 4 parking spots on Tran Hung Dao street, Pho Duc Chinh Street, central flower garden and Phung Hung street.

The government of Son Tay town has embellished roads and sidewalks, improved the landscape of pedestrian streets, painted street markings; install information signs, signposts around the moat of the ancient citadel. In the future, there will be more welcome gates and decorative lights. The Cultural Center of Son Tay town also plans to organize cultural and sports activities at the pedestrian street.

The road outside the citadel is associated with historical values. Walking street operating time is from 7 p.m. Saturday to 12 a.m. Sunday every week.

The space inside the ancient citadel has also been renovated such as planting more grass, paving new roads, installing lighting in Kinh Thien Palace… to help visitors have more space to enjoy and take souvenir photos.

The toilet system was renewed inside and outside the citadel.

In the coming days, Ngoc well in the ancient citadel will be released with koi fish and more pigeons, creating an attractive destination. The Urban Management Department of Son Tay town said that the preparation work has reached 80% of the progress and will be completed in time to open the pedestrian street on the holiday of April 30 to May 1.

When in operation, the pedestrian street of Son Tay town will be the fourth pedestrian space of Hanoi, after the routes around Hoan Kiem Lake; Hanoi Old Quarter (Hang Dao – Dong Xuan, level 1 conservation area of ​​Hanoi Old Quarter, Southern extension of Hanoi Old Quarter) and Trinh Cong Son Street.
