Rahni Moreau Nguyễn has officially joined Hồng Lĩnh Hà Tĩnh after a two-week trial, opening a new chapter in his football career in the V-League. This move comes after a series of unsuccessful attempts to secure a position with other clubs, including Viettel and Hà Nội FC.

The midfielder's performance during training impressed the coaching staff, leading to his contract with the team. This is a pivotal moment for Rahni, who has faced numerous challenges in his pursuit of a club in Vietnam. His determination has finally paid off, and he is eager to prove himself at Hồng Lĩnh Hà Tĩnh.

Rahni is expected to make his debut in the V-League's third round, where Hồng Lĩnh Hà Tĩnh will face Viettel, the very club he previously trialed with. This match presents a significant opportunity for him to adapt to the competitive environment of Vietnamese football.

Standing at approximately 1.80 meters tall, Rahni possesses a physical advantage for his role as a central midfielder. His long strides and extensive range of motion aid him in ball recovery and challenges. In addition to his defensive duties, the Vietnamese-French player is recognized for his ability to escape pressing situations, facilitate ball movement, and maintain connectivity between the team’s lines.

During the 2024/25 season, Rahni was promoted to Bordeaux B, competing in National 3, which marked an important milestone in his development before seeking opportunities in Vietnam. He has received praise from former French international Rio Mavuba for his tactical awareness and composure on the ball, essential qualities for a central midfielder.

In training sessions with Hồng Lĩnh Hà Tĩnh, Rahni has made a strong impression with his ball-winning capabilities and teamwork. His focus on efficient decision-making helps maintain the team's rhythm. This new contract not only strengthens Hồng Lĩnh Hà Tĩnh’s midfield options but also provides Rahni with the chance to translate his positive training performances into success on the pitch in the V-League.
