Malaysia Seeks FIFA Explanation Over Extended Injury Time for Indonesia
Malaysia's Football Association has formally requested FIFA to clarify the decision to extend injury time

In a recent update regarding the Vietnamese national football team, defender Bùi Hoàng Việt Anh is expected to participate in the match against Malaysia on October 5, while midfielder Đỗ Hoàng Hên will be sidelined due to injury. The match will take place at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Both players sustained injuries during the game against Pakistan on October 2. Hoàng Hên suffered a calf injury and had to leave the field in the second half, while Việt Anh experienced a hamstring injury but is reportedly recovering well.
Việt Anh, who stands at 1.85 meters tall, is considered a crucial player for the team, known for his excellent ball-winning skills and ability to lead the defense. His presence will be vital, especially against Malaysia's tall forwards, including Fergus Tierney, who is 1.86 meters, and Bergson da Silva, who stands at 1.80 meters.
With Hoàng Hên out of the lineup, the Vietnamese team, led by coach Kim Sang Sik, will need to strategize effectively to handle Malaysia's aerial threats. Việt Anh's potential participation could significantly bolster their defense as they aim for a strong performance in the FIFA ASEAN Cup.
