Speaking to Sky Sports, Antonelli stated, "Had to be a good team-mate and help as much as I could." The team asked me and of course I did what I had to do, I tried to help as much as possible," he explained.

"I think I did a good job with that and happy it worked out," he added, expressing satisfaction with his contributions during qualifying.
