Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – In a stunning display of resilience, Al-Nassr came from behind to defeat Al-Diriyah 4-1 in the Round of 32 of the King’s Cup for the 2026-2027 season. The match took place at Al-Awwal Park Stadium on Tuesday evening, where the home team faced an early challenge.

Al-Diriyah shocked the crowd by scoring first, with Oscar Rodriguez finding the net just two minutes into the game. However, Al-Nassr quickly responded, equalizing in the 11th minute thanks to Frenchman Mohamed Simakan, who capitalized on the pressure his team was applying after conceding the initial goal.

Continuing their dominance, Al-Nassr took the lead in the 35th minute when Portuguese star João Félix scored, followed by a third goal just two minutes later from Abdullah Al-Hamdan. This gave Al-Nassr a comfortable 3-1 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Al-Diriyah attempted to mount a comeback but struggled to penetrate Al-Nassr's defense. The match was sealed in the 68th minute when João Félix scored again, marking his second goal of the match and his fourth of the tournament. This decisive victory secured Al-Nassr's place in the Round of 16 of the King’s Cup.
