Cristiano Ronaldo Pushes for Joao Felix's Contract Renewal at Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo is taking an active role behind the scenes at Al Nassr to help secure a contract extension for Joao Felix, who has made a significant impact since joining the club. According to reports from 365Scores Arabic, Al Nassr's management is set to meet with Felix soon to discuss a new deal, following Ronaldo's recommendation.

Joao Felix, who joined Al Nassr last summer from Chelsea for a fee estimated at around 30 million euros, has quickly become one of the team's standout attacking players alongside Ronaldo. The Portuguese forward has revitalized his career in Saudi Arabia after struggling in Europe, and he is eager to continue his journey with Al Nassr.

Currently, Felix's contract runs until June 2027, but Al Nassr is keen to extend it to ensure his long-term future with the club. The management wants to avoid waiting until the final year of his contract to negotiate, which could lead to speculation about his future. Previously, Felix was linked with a potential move away from Al Nassr, with clubs like Besiktas and Manchester United expressing interest.

Ronaldo's involvement in the negotiation process highlights the club's high regard for both Portuguese internationals. Felix has had a stellar season, making a remarkable debut in the Saudi Pro League with a hat-trick in a 5-0 victory against Al Taawoun. Over the course of the 2025/26 season, he scored 20 goals and provided 14 assists in the league, contributing to a total of 26 goals across all competitions for Al Nassr.

His efforts were instrumental in helping Al Nassr clinch the Saudi Pro League title for the 2025/26 season, marking the club's first domestic championship since 2019 and the 11th in its history, following a decisive 4-1 victory over Damac.
