The coach also mentioned that his staff has begun analyzing potential semifinal opponents from Group B.

Winger Nguyen Hai Long echoed the coach's sentiments, stating the team's determination to secure three points for their home supporters after the previous draw. He emphasized the honor of representing Vietnam, regardless of the competitive landscape of the ASEAN Cup.

On the other hand, Cambodia's head coach Koji Gyotoku acknowledged the challenges his team faces, having already been eliminated from the tournament. He noted that while Cambodia would likely focus on defense, they would also look for counterattacking opportunities.
