According to MLS regulations, the negotiation priority for Casemiro belongs to LA Galaxy, which complicates Inter Miami's direct negotiations with the player.

Although Inter Miami and LA Galaxy have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of priority rights, the league is investigating allegations of improper access to the player before an official agreement was finalized. MLS officials have stated they are gathering all relevant information before reaching a conclusion, and the terms of the agreement between Inter Miami and LA Galaxy will not be disclosed until the investigation is complete.

Casemiro has yet to make his debut for Inter Miami as he awaits the completion of his work visa procedures. Recently, he participated in the 2026 World Cup with the Brazilian national team, adding to his impressive resume that includes five UEFA Champions League titles with Real Madrid, along with an FA Cup and League Cup during his time at Manchester United.
