Pork Prices Rise Slightly in Central Vietnam

On July 16, pork prices in Central Vietnam experienced a slight increase, with prices ranging from 62,000 to 65,000 VND per kilogram. This marks a modest rise in the market, which is noteworthy for both producers and consumers.

In the northern regions, prices are reported to be slightly higher, fluctuating between 66,000 and 67,000 VND per kilogram. Some provinces, such as Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh, have seen an increase of 1,000 VND, reaching 67,000 VND per kilogram. Other areas like Cao Bang, Lang Son, Phu Tho, and Son La also reported prices of 66,000 VND per kilogram.

In Central Vietnam, specific provinces like Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak have also recorded a 1,000 VND increase, bringing their prices to 63,000 VND per kilogram, while Hue has reached 64,000 VND per kilogram.

Meanwhile, in Southern Vietnam, prices remain stable, ranging from 62,000 to 64,000 VND per kilogram. Provinces such as Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, An Giang, Ca Mau, Vinh Long, and Can Tho are maintaining the lower end of this range at 62,000 VND per kilogram, while Dong Nai has prices at 64,000 VND.

This slight increase in pork prices is part of a broader trend observed in recent days, indicating a gradual recovery in the market after previous fluctuations. Stakeholders in the agricultural sector will be monitoring these changes closely as they can impact both supply and demand dynamics.
