Petrolimex Gas Prices Remain Stable on June 24
On June 24, retail gas prices at major brands, including Petrolimex, remained stable with no new adjustments

On June 25, 2026, Petrolimex, Vietnam's leading gas company, announced that retail gas prices have remained stable across multiple regions of the country. This stability follows a price adjustment that took place at the beginning of June, and the company has not yet implemented any new changes to the pricing.
In Northern Vietnam, the retail price for a 12kg gas cylinder in Hanoi is currently set at 578,664 VND, while the 48kg cylinder is priced at 2,314,656 VND. In Hai Phong, the prices are slightly higher, with the 12kg cylinder also at 578,664 VND and the 48kg cylinder at 2,350,944 VND. The higher prices in Hai Phong reflect the specific distribution and transportation costs in the area.
Moving to Central Vietnam, the market in Da Nang continues to maintain stable prices as well. A 12kg gas cylinder is sold for 567,000 VND, while the 48kg cylinder is priced at 2,183,000 VND. This region generally offers lower prices compared to many locations in the North and South.
In Southern Vietnam, the prices are a bit higher, with a 12kg gas cylinder in Ho Chi Minh City priced at 592,000 VND and the 48kg cylinder at 2,364,000 VND. In Can Tho, the prices are lower at 555,000 VND for the 12kg cylinder and 2,220,000 VND for the 48kg cylinder.
Overall, there are noticeable price differences between regions due to variations in transportation, storage, distribution costs, and consumer demand. The price of the 12kg gas cylinder in Hanoi is lower than in Ho Chi Minh City but higher than in some areas of Central and Southwestern Vietnam.
In summary, the domestic gas market continues to maintain stability, with adequate supply and no significant factors currently influencing a drastic change in retail prices.
