On the afternoon of April 24, the Chairman of Thua Thien - Hue Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Van Phuong, met with Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM) on the proposal to register pure electric taxi operation in the province.

Reporting at the meeting, GSM General Director Nguyen Van Thanh said that GSM Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company ("GSM" – Green – Smart – Mobility) is the first pure electric taxi business unit. The SM Green Taxi brand in Vietnam uses electric vehicles VF5, Vfe34 (Taxi GreenCar), and VF8 (LuxuryCar).

The company officially opened and was operated in Hanoi on April 14. Electric taxis are being supported and loved by many people.
Through research, GSM company found that Thua Thien - Hue province is one of Vietnam's most famous tourist destinations and attracts significant international tourists yearly. International guests are very fond of using green and environmentally friendly vehicles. Therefore, the GSM company wishes to register the operation of pure electric taxis in the locality.Also read:

Soon, the company will start recruiting and organizing formal training in English and services for drivers to bring customers the best experience and service when using the company's services. It is expected that in phase 1, local will put 250 pure electric taxis into operation", added GSM General Director Nguyen Van Thanh.
Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of Thua Thien - Hue Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Van Phuong, welcomed and appreciated GSM Company's research and desire to invest in Thua Thien Hue province.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue province assigned departments, agencies, and sectors to coordinate with GSM Company to organize surveys and assessments to propose suitable plans according to the size and content of the company's proposal. At the same time, support and create the most favorable conditions for research and appropriate orientation for investment companies in the coming time.
