Actors Ngọc Quỳnh and Thùy Anh recently tied the knot in a heartfelt ceremony attended by around 400 guests at a restaurant in Tây Hồ, Hanoi. This significant event comes after both actors experienced the pain of previous marriages. The couple took a moment during their wedding to reflect on their nearly two-decade-long friendship, which blossomed into love.

Thùy Anh expressed her emotions, recalling how she had attended Ngọc Quỳnh's previous weddings as a guest, never imagining she would eventually marry him. She shared, "I know you have your flaws, but the more I understand you, the more I cherish everything you have given me. After all, we still want to hold hands. No matter what anyone says, to me, you are one of the most wonderful gifts life has given me." Ngọc Quỳnh, visibly moved, wiped away Thùy Anh's tears during the ceremony.

In response, Ngọc Quỳnh shared his feelings, stating, "I have gone through many ups and downs, experiencing happiness and pain. Today, I don't need a script or to play a character. It’s just you and me on this stage, continuing our story. I have lived many lives on stage, but perhaps the role I want to keep the longest is being your husband." At 46 years old, he admitted to feeling nervous about this significant day, expressing joy that many friends, including some from abroad, made time to attend.

Prior to their wedding, the couple collaborated on various aspects, from decoration ideas to menu selection and capturing memorable photos. They noted that they rarely argue, having both experienced past failures that fostered a deep understanding between them. Thùy Anh, who has a 15-year-old son from a previous marriage, and Ngọc Quỳnh, who has three children from two divorces, focus on nurturing their family and maintaining a harmonious relationship among all family members.

Both actors work together at the Hanoi Drama Theater, where they share their passion for performance. Thùy Anh also runs a spa business, with Ngọc Quỳnh supporting her endeavors. They enjoy decorating their home, cooking, and sharing household responsibilities. Their love for travel often leads them to explore new destinations together.

Reflecting on their initial meeting nearly 20 years ago, both actors admitted they did not have a special impression of each other at the time. "Now, we are together thanks to fate, and we cherish that," Ngọc Quỳnh remarked.

Ngọc Quỳnh, born in 1980 in Thường Tín, Hanoi, transitioned to the arts during his university years and has since built a successful career in acting. He gained recognition for his roles in various productions, including winning a gold medal at the Hanoi Theater Festival in 2018. Thùy Anh, born in 1987, is also an accomplished actress with notable performances in several films and theater productions, earning accolades for her work.
