Rosie O’Donnell Confirms No Plans to Return to The View
Rosie O’Donnell has stated that there are currently no plans for her to return to The View for its 30th

Michelle Collins has publicly called out 'The View' after revealing that she was not contacted for the show's upcoming 30th season anniversary special. Collins, who co-hosted the show for one season before her departure in 2016, expressed her frustration over the lack of communication from the producers while other former co-hosts, including Rosie O'Donnell, have reportedly been invited back.
In a video shared on Instagram on August 3, Collins mentioned that she was currently in Milan, Italy, when she learned about O'Donnell's return invitation during an appearance on 'The Tangle with Kyle Ridley' podcast. "Now that was news to me, maybe because I’m traveling so much, my invite somehow got lost," she said, emphasizing that she had not received any formal invitation from the show.
Collins stated, "I found that really interesting" as she has always maintained a professional demeanor regarding her time on the show. She reflected on her past, noting that she had never publicly criticized 'The View' after being let go, believing it was the right thing to do. However, she is now reconsidering that stance, expressing that perhaps it would have been better to voice her feelings sooner, especially as other former co-hosts are being welcomed back.
A representative for O'Donnell clarified that while there was a mention of inviting some former hosts back, no formal invitations had been extended at that time. Collins' comments have sparked discussions among fans and followers about the show's treatment of its past co-hosts and the dynamics of returning to a platform after a significant absence.
