CJ Group presents scholarships to disadvantaged students in Lam Dong

HCMC – CJ Group awarded 100 scholarships worth VND520 million to poor students with good academic performance in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on December 21.

The scholarship award ceremony took place at the Dalat Administration Center, with the participation of representatives of local authorities and the CJ Group, including CJ Group Vietnam chairman and CEO Chang Bok Sang. The scholarship recipients are students from the primary to the high school level.

Since 2013, CJ Group has awarded more than 1,100 scholarships to poor students with outstanding academic performance in Lam Dong Province, demonstrating CJ’s responsibility toward the community as well as its CSR culture.

CJ Group is committed to continuing this scholarship program for many more years to come. In addition, CJ Vietnam is always ready to recruit and create job opportunities after graduation for students who have received scholarships from the Group.

Chairman Chang Bok Sang stated, “CJ always has a persistent investment in CSR activities in many fields, including education, culture, and agriculture. Ten years is not a short journey with a scholarship program, but we really care and value it first because this is an education area that helps nurture talent for the country. At the same time, social dedication is how CJ repays the Vietnamese people’s trust in our brands.”
