The most modern coastal urban area in Ho Chi Minh City: Budget 76,000 billion VND, 108 floors lighthouse, 155 hectares golf course

Can Gio coastal urban area has an investment budget of more than VND 76,000 billion, including 5 functional subdivisions with many items such as a golf course of 155 hectares, Hai Dang cape with a 108-floor high iconic tower.

Ho Chi Minh City has just completed a local adjustment summary report to organize the appraisal of the "1/5000 scale subdivision planning project of Can Gio beach tourism urban area".


Accordingly, the total investment in construction of technical, social infrastructure and trees of the Can Gio coastal urban area is about VND 76,259.28 billion. In which, the investment cost for the construction of social infrastructure and trees is more than 43,000 billion VND and the investment in technical infrastructure is more than 32,000 billion VND.


The construction site of this urban area in Long Hoa commune and Can Thanh town, Ho Chi Minh City has been approved for the 1/5000 subdivision planning project since September 2018. Due to many changes compared to before, the project is studied and adjusted to be realistic and suitable with the adjustment of the city's general planning project. The local adjustment of the Can Gio urban area project, when approved, will be the basis for detailed planning and preparation of investment and construction work.


The project still remains 5 functional subdivisions A, B, C, D, E, population more than 228,000 as before, but adjusts some contents related to water surface, sand beach, public beach. The land fund for tourism and resort in zones A, B, C and D will also be reduced to meet tourism demand and increase public utilities. The golf course in Zone A will increase its area from about 146 hectares to 155 hectares in order to have more land to arrange attached utilities.

According to the adjustment orientation, subdivision A will increase its area from about 771 hectares to nearly 954 hectares, with the main function being an amusement and entertainment area (theme park, golf course...); high-class resort tourism; commercial, service... Subdivision B is about 659 hectares wide, planned to be a complex of cultural, sports works and stadiums with the main space at major sections. The gateway area to the urban area will arrange public facilities such as parking lots, hospitals, schools, offices, commercial centers and hotels.


The approved golf course area is about 146.68 ha, after adjustment increased to 155.21 ha (8.53 ha increased). The golf course land fund is increased leading to the  land fund expansion for the arrangement of golf course facilities: Clubhouse, car park, wastewater treatment station.The approved local adjustment will be an important legal basis for the formation of detailed plans and the preparation for subsequent investment and construction. Contributing to creating conditions for the investor to quickly deploy the following work, speeding up the progress and improving the efficiency of the project.
