Vietnam Milk Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) has just signed a cooperation agreement with 6 leading nutrition groups in the world to develop the milk powdered industry.
Vinamilk's six strategic partners include: DSM Nutrition Group (Switzerland), CHR Hansen Bioscience Group (Denmark), Beneo Nutrition Group (Germany), Gnosis Biotechnology Group (Italy). ), AAK Vegetable Oil Production and Distribution Corporation (Sweden) and Kanematsu Food Corporation (Japan).

This is the first time that these six groups have been present in Vietnam together with Vinamilk, applying nutritional science achievements into infant milk powdered product lines that qualified the international standards and close to the gold standard of breast milk.

Vinamilk hopes to bring new nutritional solutions to Vietnamese children by adding the micronutrients in breast milk which raises the quality of milk to international standards, approaching the gold standard of breast milk.

"The companionship of major partners in the world is a very important factor to help Vinamilk progress faster on the journey to achieve the goal of bringing more value to consumers, bringing quality and safe products for children", said Ms. Mai Kieu Lien, General Director of Vinamilk.

Mr. Francois Scheffler, Chairman of DSM Group in Asia - Pacific, said that he accompanied Vietnamese partners because he saw Vinamilk's efforts and enthusiasm for developing the products in order to meet the international quality standards.

Also at the event, the American non-profit organization Clean Label Project (CLP) announced that Vinamilk is the first company that owns the baby formula brand in Asia to win the Purity Award in which purity, safety and transparency of food, especially for children is considered. These are the awarded brands: Optimum Gold, YokoGold, ColosGold, Pedia Kenji, Dielac Grow Plus, Dielac Alpha, and Dielac Alpha Gold.

To be granted this award, products must undergo testing for more than 400 criteria related to heavy metals, microplastics, and other harmful chemicals in the product.

On the rankings of many international market research companies, Vinamilk is currently in the Top 40 largest dairy companies in the world, the 6th largest dairy brand in the world and the most potential in the world in 2022. With a system of 15 dairy cow farms, 17 domestic and foreign factories and 250,000 branches across Vietnam, Vinamilk is leading the dairy market in key categories such as milk, condensed milk.

The company is also the leading manufacturer in terms of the amount of the infant formula in Vietnam (according to the report of AC Nielsen Vietnam in 2021), with a diverse product portfolio to please many customers and different nutritional needs. Powdered milk is also rated as the largest export volume of the company recently.
