Capital Finance International honored Vingroup in the category "Best Sustainable Development Strategy in Vietnam in 2023".

According to information posted on the website of Capital Finance International (CFI), the meaning of the award is to recognize that Vingroup has applied circular economic models, flexibly responding to the fluctuations of the modern world.

CFI recognized Vingroup as a multi-industry corporation "with the goal of bringing a better life to everyone", by providing services in three areas of technology, industry, trade and service and charity. In particular, the business has built sustainability goals through a comprehensive ecosystem in fields such as housing, shopping, tourism, hotels, entertainment, education and healthcare.

Besides, CFI assesses that Vingroup aims to promote sustainable development by taking advantage of its internal resources and global partner network. The Group also applies circular economy models to optimize resources, along with an ecosystem development strategy to unlock link between industries and sub-ecosystems.

Additionally, Vingroup has created a connection network between smart technology and green transportation systems. In this network, the group promotes research in big data technology, artificial intelligence for electric vehicles and develops solutions such as batteries, energy, charger and recycling of electric vehicle batteries.

This is reflected in practical action when recently, Vingroup announced the establishment of an electric car rental and electric taxi company in Vietnam, with a system of 10,000 electric cars and 100,000 electric motorbikes.
According to a representative of Vingroup, in the field of electric cars, the group plans to launch global deliveries with two SUV models (VF8 and VF9) and start accepting pre-orders for the next EV models in the near future. In addition, the enterprise also built a new electric vehicle factory in North Carolina, USA.

CFI is known as a Corporate Finance Institute, its headquarter in the UK. The awards are voted by CFI, judged by a council of judges who are experts from many financial institutions, administrators, investors, and scholars. CFI's annual awards are awarded to individuals and units whose outstanding contributions to the economy, creating value for society.

In 2023, besides Vingroup, a number of businesses were also honored by CFI such as Citi - "World's Best Social Financial Bonds 2023", ICICI - "Britain's Best Digital Bank 2023" or JP Morgan - "The Best Global Digital Transformation Strategy In Payments 2023".
