Suspended gas stations in HCMC to be inspected
HCMC – The HCMC market surveillance force is set today to inspect the gas stations which have suspended their operations.

Some gas stations in District 7 and on National Highway No. 50 in the area of HCMC were temporarily closed on the third day of the Tet holiday, reported by the local media.

The Market Surveillance Team No.3 under the HCMC Market Surveillance Department will inspect the suspended gas stations in District 7 and announce the inspection results today.

Strict sanctions will be imposed on those petroleum enterprises that violate the regulations on gasoline and oil trading.

According to the HCMC Department of Industry and Trade, some fuel businesses had written to this department requesting suspending operation during the Tet holiday due to understaffing resulting from their staff returning home for family reunion.

Despite the suspension of several gas stations in HCMC during the past days, fuel supply in the city has remained stable, said the HCMC Market Surveillance Department.
