Kite boarders gravitate to south-central Vietnam
My Hoa Village in Ninh Thuan Province has hosted several kiteboarding competitions over the past decade
The international kitesurfing week is scheduled to last 10 days, from December 16 to 25, in Ninh Hai District as part of the Ninh Hai-Ninh Thuan Cultural and Tourism Events 2022.
The event will feature 70 kite surfers from 15 countries.
Locals and tourists will be introduced to a series of other activities, including a boat race on Nai lagoon, a women’s beach volleyball competition, a golf competition and an apricot blossom festival.
Tran Quoc Nam, chairman of the Ninh Thuan People’s Committee, said that Ninh Thuan was set to become a unique tourist destination with peculiar products that can rarely be found elsewhere, such as the kitesurfing festival.
