Emirates resumes commercial flights to and from Vietnam

The desire to travel has never been stronger, and as travellers from Vietnam start planning their international trips once again after a two-year gap, Emirates is ready to meet demand by offering three flights a week from and to Hanoi and two weekly fights on the Ho Chi Minh City route.

Upon arrival back into Vietnam, passengers of all nationalities can self-quarantine for three days if fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19. A seven-day self-quarantine is required for passengers who are not fully vaccinated. For more details on entry requirements to Vietnam, customers can check the travel requirements page on emirates.com. Customers are urged to check the applicable eligibility requirements prior to booking.

Emirates flights to both points will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in a two-class configuration. The wide-body aircraft operating flights EK392/393 and EK394/395 will offer the spaciousness and comfort of 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 382 seats in Economy Class. Tickets can be booked from today on emirates.com, the Emirates App, or via both online and offline travel agents.

Emirates has safely restarted operations to more than 120 destinations within its extensive global network, via Dubai, the hub of Emirates. Passengers flying from Vietnam with the airline have the chance to discover the world. Those planning a stopover will have the chance to squeeze in visits to Dubai Expo which ends on 31 March. As Premier Partner and Official Airline of Expo 2020 Dubai travellers on Emirates will be able to redeem a complimentary Season Pass with every ticket booked with the airline. The Emirates Season pass allows visitors to go to the must-see event, Expo 2020 Dubai, as many times as they wish.

Dubai attractions

Customers travelling to Dubai or considering a stopover at the holiday hotspot, can enjoy a vast array of places to see. Ain Dubai, the world’s largest and tallest observation wheel and one of the city’s newest attractions, is a must to include on one’s bucket list. Ain Dubai offers unique views of Dubai's iconic landmarks, from a height of 250 metres.

Museum of the Future, which opened only weeks ago, is undoubtedly the latest attraction to join Dubai’s endless list of unique experiences and iconic landmarks. Dubbed “the most beautiful building on earth”, a visit to Museum of the Future is not only to see an architectural marvel but takes one on a journey to preview future technologies and skills, today.
