NDO – The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, will organise 56 culture, sports and tourism events in 2022, including Da Lat Flower Festival, in a bid to restore tourism, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The ninth Da Lat Flower Festival is set to take place in late 2022.

Other events and activities are scheduled to be held throughout the year from January to December, such as the Da Lat Ultra Trail and the International Mountain Bike Race, under the Vietnam MTB Series 2022 in March, the inauguration of Churu Cultural Village in Pró commune, Don Duong district in April, the National Youth Chess Championship and National Club Bodybuilding Championship in June, the Vietnamese League Two from April to June, the Lam Dong Ethnic Culture Festival in July and the 2022 National Club Golf Championship in December.

In particular, the Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week 2022, with the theme “Da Lat - Resort Paradise”, will take place from April 23 to 30, 2022, which is expected to attract a large number of tourists.

The province welcomed about 1.17 million visitors in the first two months of 2022, up 42.7% over the same period in 2021, a good sign despite the pandemic.

Lam Dong expects to receive 5.5 million visitors in 2022, including 5.35 million domestic visitors and 150,000 foreign visitors.
