Lecce will host Bologna at the Comunale Via del Mare on October 11, 2026, at 20:00, in a match that is significant for both teams as they look for their first win of the Serie A season. Lecce, under the guidance of coach Eusebio Di Francesco, is striving to improve its standing after a series of relegation battles in previous seasons.

Having started the season with two wins and three losses, Lecce has shown a more aggressive playing style, although they recently suffered a heavy defeat to AC Milan, losing 0-3. The team is eager to turn their fortunes around and secure a positive result against Bologna.

Bologna, on the other hand, has had a rocky start to the season, managing only two points from five matches. Under coach Domenico Tedesco, Bologna has struggled to maintain the vibrant attacking identity established by previous coaches. Their last outing ended in a disappointing 1-1 draw against Torino, and they will be looking to capitalize on this opportunity against Lecce.

Historically, Bologna has had the upper hand in their encounters with Lecce, remaining unbeaten in their last 11 meetings, with seven wins and four draws. Lecce has only managed three victories in their last 26 encounters, and they will need to overcome this trend to gain momentum.

In terms of squad news, Lecce has a few fitness concerns, but they are expected to field a strong lineup. Bologna will be without Holm and Odgaard due to injuries, and the availability of Dovbyk remains uncertain.

This match presents a critical juncture for both teams, as they aim to secure their first win of the season and establish a foothold in the league. With both sides eager for points, fans can expect an intense and competitive match.

In conclusion, Lecce will need to harness their home advantage, while Bologna will be looking to find their rhythm and claim their first victory. The outcome of this match could set the tone for the rest of the season for both clubs.
