This development is promising for the Vietnam national football team, as these players bring valuable experience and skills that could elevate the team's performance on both domestic and international stages.

In a 4-3-3 formation, the overseas Vietnamese players are well-equipped to form a competitive squad. The goalkeeping position features three talented keepers: Nguyễn Filip from Hanoi Police, Lê Giang Patrik from Ho Chi Minh City Police, and Lawrence Caruso from Viettel. Both Filip and Patrik have been regulars in the national team under coach Kim Sang-sik, although their age (34) poses a potential challenge. Nevertheless, their experience, combined with the youthful energy of 22-year-old Caruso, provides a solid foundation for the future.

In defense, Kyle Colonna (Viettel) and Nguyễn Adou Minh (Hanoi Police) have established themselves as formidable players in the league, with both having been recognized in the league's best XI in recent seasons. Their skills could be invaluable for the national team, provided they secure citizenship and are called up by the coach.

On the flanks, Leen Minh Chan (Ho Chi Minh City Police) and Tyler James Thai Crawford (Nam Dinh) have made impressive debuts in the V-League.
