The team is looking forward to their league opener against Urawa Red Diamonds on August 22. Notably, Bayern will face a familiar opponent in Japanese forward Mai Kadowaki, who previously played in the Frauen-Bundesliga for RB Leipzig.

However, Bayern will be missing several key players for this match. Captain Bernadette Amani is participating in the Africa Cup with the Ivory Coast, while Giulia Gwinn is recovering from shoulder surgery and Vanessa Gilles is sidelined with a muscular injury.
