The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to conclude with a spectacular closing ceremony featuring renowned American singer Post Malone as the headline act. Scheduled for 90 minutes before the championship match between Spain and Argentina, the ceremony will take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Alongside Post Malone, the event will showcase a lineup of other notable artists, including Italian singer Laura Pausini, American singer Nicole Scherzinger, British pop star Robbie Williams, and American streamer IShowSpeed. A special guest appearance by actor Tom Cruise is also anticipated. Additionally, Grammy, Emmy, Oscar, and Tony Award winner Jennifer Hudson will perform the U.S. national anthem before the final match begins, while Christopher Macchio, known as the "High Voice of America," will sing "America the Beautiful" as part of the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The event is designed to honor the dedication and achievements of the teams before the World Cup champion is officially crowned.

Post Malone, one of the most successful contemporary artists, is known for his unique blend of musical genres and has achieved significant commercial success with hits like "Rockstar," "I Fall Apart," and "Sunflower." His upcoming debut country album, titled F-1 Trillion, is expected to release in 2024 and has already topped the Billboard 200 chart in its first week.

The ceremony, produced in collaboration with Balich Wonder Studio, promises to deliver a grand entertainment experience, setting the stage for what is anticipated to be an unforgettable final match. FIFA President Gianni Infantino expressed hopes that the closing ceremony will leave a lasting impression, uniting the spirit of the 48 teams, 16 host cities, and millions of fans worldwide.

The final match between Argentina and Spain will take place on July 19, while England and France will compete for third place the day before at Hard Rock Stadium.
