LeBron James Partners With Crypto.com To Provide Technology Learning Programs For Akron Kids
LeBron James, an NBA star, has announced a long-term partnership between Crypto.com and his namesake

Basketball superstar LeBron James is leaving the Los Angeles Lakers and will continue his career with another team. James, 41, has spent the past eight seasons with the Lakers, during which he helped the franchise secure the 2020 NBA title. This decision comes as James has played alongside his son Bronny, 21, since 2024.
Media reports indicate that the Golden State Warriors are interested in signing the league's all-time leading scorer. The Lakers released a statement expressing their gratitude, stating, "LeBron James is one of the greatest athletes in history. We will always be grateful for his eight years with the Lakers - including the title he led us to in 2020, under the most difficult circumstances imaginable, and the countless records he broke in purple and gold. We wish him the best in his future, both on and off the court. He will always be a cherished member of the Lakers family."
In response to the Lakers' statement, James took to social media to express his appreciation, writing, "No, THANK YOU!" He added that it was "truly an honor" to wear the purple and gold while trying to continue "the greatness & legacies that came before me!" He hoped to have made a few people proud during his time with the team.
This past season, James averaged 20.9 points, 7.2 assists, and 6.1 rebounds. He is a 22-time All-Star and a four-time NBA champion, holding records for the most games played (1,622) and points scored (43,440) in NBA history. James was selected with the first pick in the 2003 NBA Draft by his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers, where he spent seven seasons before making a highly publicized move to the Miami Heat. He later returned to Cleveland, leading the Cavaliers to their first championship in 2016 by overcoming a 3-1 series deficit against the Golden State Warriors.
James's tenure with the Lakers was marked by significant achievements, including winning the NBA title in 2020, just nine months after the tragic loss of basketball legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash.
