Real Madrid in Talks to Sign Enzo Fernandez
Real Madrid is reportedly in negotiations with Chelsea to acquire midfielder Enzo Fernandez, who is a top

On June 26, Manchester United made headlines in the transfer market as they set their sights on Aurelien Tchouameni, a midfielder from Real Madrid. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, personal terms would not be an issue if United decides to push forward with the transfer, as they are prepared to make Tchouameni one of the highest-paid players in the squad.
Currently, Tchouameni and Alex Scott from Bournemouth are seen as backup options for Manchester United in case they cannot secure Matheus Fernandes from West Ham. Fernandes is considered the primary target, but United faces stiff competition from Tottenham Hotspur.
In addition to Tchouameni, Manchester United is reportedly entering the race to sign striker Julian Alvarez. The Argentine forward has expressed his willingness to leave Atletico Madrid, and United has made initial contact with Alvarez's representatives. His potential transfer has attracted interest from several European giants, including Barcelona, Arsenal, PSG, and Real Madrid, with Atletico Madrid reportedly demanding a hefty transfer fee.
Meanwhile, Manchester City is closing in on a deal for midfielder Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest. Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that negotiations are ongoing, and there is growing confidence within City that the transfer could be finalized soon. Anderson is viewed as a long-term successor to Bernardo Silva, who has joined Real Madrid.
On the Chelsea front, the club is eyeing Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace as a key transfer target. However, Chelsea needs to offload Enzo Fernandez to free up budget space before pursuing Wharton. Fernandez is currently a top target for Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid, who also need to sell either Eduardo Camavinga or Aurelien Tchouameni before they can acquire Fernandez.
In another development, Real Madrid has activated the buy-back clause for Nico Paz from Como for 9 million euros. The Spanish club has also offered Como the opportunity to buy Paz back immediately for 60 million euros. Como has until June 29 to make a decision; otherwise, Paz will return to the Bernabeu at the end of the summer. Even if he does not return to Como, it does not guarantee that he will stay at Real Madrid, as the club is reportedly looking to sell him for a significant profit.
