On July 7, a cargo plane, specifically a Boeing 737 operated by K2 Airways, disappeared from radar while flying over the Arabian Sea near Ormara in Pakistan's Balochistan province. The aircraft lost contact with air traffic control shortly after reporting a navigational system failure.

The plane, which was en route from Sharjah to Karachi, reported issues at 9:18 PM local time. Following this, the Karachi Area Control Center provided guidance to the crew. However, moments later, radar observations indicated that the plane was rapidly descending and changing course unexpectedly. Both radar signals and radio communication were lost approximately 155 nautical miles west of Karachi.

In response to the disappearance, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) announced that a coordinated search and rescue operation had been activated. Various agencies are collaborating to locate the missing aircraft and its crew, which consists of five members.
