On the evening of September 23, NSND Cong Ly and his wife, Ngoc Ha, were present at the wedding of NSUT Ngoc Quynh and actress Thuy Anh, held at a restaurant in the West Lake area of Hanoi. The wedding was attended by approximately 400 guests, including several prominent figures from the arts community.

Ngoc Ha shared with reporters that NSND Cong Ly's health has been quite good recently, as he frequently visits the Hanoi Drama Theater to engage with colleagues. The couple's attendance at the wedding was motivated by their long-standing friendship and professional connection with the groom, Ngoc Quynh.

During the celebration, NSND Cong Ly reunited with his close friend NSND Trung Hieu, with whom he studied and built their careers at the Hanoi Drama Theater. Cong Ly and Ngoc Ha have been married since early 2021 after dating for about five years. Ngoc Ha, who is 15 years younger than Cong Ly, works in media and has been a supportive partner, especially during Cong Ly's health challenges in 2021.

On their special day, Ngoc Quynh and Thuy Anh reflected on their nearly 20-year friendship. Thuy Anh mentioned that she had attended two previous weddings of Ngoc Quynh as a colleague and guest, never imagining she would stand by his side on his wedding day. Ngoc Quynh expressed that while their union may have come later in life, it was never too late, emphasizing that he does not promise a perfect life but aims to share both joy and sorrow with Thuy Anh.

Born in 1980 in Hanoi, Ngoc Quynh works at the Hanoi Drama Theater and has appeared in several notable productions, including “The Rose on the Left Breast” and “Love Without Appointment.” He won the Best Actor award at the 2020 Canh Dieu Festival for his role in “The Rose on the Left Breast.” In March 2024, he is set to receive the title of NSUT. This marriage marks Ngoc Quynh's third, as he has three children from two previous marriages.

Thuy Anh, born in 1987, is also affiliated with the Hanoi Drama Theater and has participated in various films such as “Balanha Inn” and “Love Dice.” She gained recognition for her roles in productions like “The Woman with No Name” and won a Gold Medal at the 2025 International Experimental Theater Festival for her performance in “The Moonlit Night in Ha.” Ngoc Quynh and Thuy Anh publicly acknowledged their relationship in June 2024, citing shared values and mutual respect as key factors in their bond.
