Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association hosts silk painting exhibition
NDO – The Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association opened a silk painting exhibition on June 8.
A happy family, a peaceful life, and a world of dreams are what the female artists from the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association hope to convey at ‘Uoc mo xanh’ (Green Dreams), an art exhibition held to celebrate the upcoming International Women’s Day.
Green Dreams kicked off on Wednesday at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association in District 3 with the participation of artists and art lovers.
The exhibition is showcasing 117 pieces of lacquer, oil paint, acrylic, watercolor, graphic, ceramic, and wood arts from 87 female artists, with each boasting the unique interpretation of the artists’ hopes and ‘green dreams.’
The artists featured at the display come from all walks of life. Despite their different backgrounds, they all share the same love and passion for art.
The exhibition is an annual event held as a reunion for female artists ahead of International Women's Day on March 8.
The exhibition is open to the public until then.
