30 years of reaching the world of Vifon instant noodle soup

Nearly 30 years after the launch of the first instant noodle package, Vifon has exported more than one billion products to over 100 countries and regions.

In the early 90s, making pho into an instant product was considered daring. Because pho is a traditional dish, the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine, made from many different ingredients and spices and simultaneously requires accurate processing, cannot be easily packaged.

Ms. Bui Phuong Mai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vifon Company, said that the business is very aware of the challenges it will face. Customers and distributors feel both strange and apprehensive about an unprecedented product in the market. The company itself has to solve the difficult problem of tinkering with recipes, applying technology and production lines to ensure the quality and delicious taste of the dishes.

With the determination to think it can be done, the specialists of Vifon's research and development (R&D) department have researched and experimented for many years.

"The package of pho in hand looks simple, but behind it is the feat of the whole team. We boldly tried and failed in all stages, from finding raw materials to processing. , spray drying ... to finally choose the best option, giving birth to a delicious instant noodle package closest to the traditional pho flavor," shared Ms. Mai.

After the successful production of instant pho under the Vifon brand, conquering both domestic and foreign consumers, the brand continued to "write big dreams" with many other products derived from rice grains, at the same time, also specialties of many localities such as Hue beef vermicelli, crab cake, vermicelli...

The convenience of the product also helps Vifon follow users all over the world. Up to now, more than 300 brand products have been present in the lives of domestic and foreign consumers.

Besides pho, the traditional dishes bearing the quintessence of Vifon's three regions also appear on the dining table of families.

Instead of stopping at packaging dishes into convenient products, the company constantly improves product quality by listening to customers' opinions. For example, in the past, ready-to-eat products consisted of small, dry meatballs made from wheat gluten or soy protein. From the wishes of consumers, Vifon is determined to upgrade to fresher, fuller and better-quality meat packages.

"This change is our commitment that words always go hand in hand with deeds and constantly improve the nutritional value of products," added Ms. Bui Phuong Mai.

After introducing high-quality instant noodle soup with real meat packages, the business quickly applied it to other packaged products such as Nam Vang noodle soup, noodles, and instant porridge... This brought success for businesses and helped consumers improve the quality of meals with instant products.

Along with developing a variety of products, Vifon also upholds the protection of consumer health and safety. Since 20 years ago, the business has set a goal of removing synthetic dyes from all products. The lack of eye-catching additives means the team must work even harder to attract and retain customers.
