Indonesia becomes ASEAN Para Games 2022 host
NDO/VNA – Indonesia has received official approval to replace Vietnam to host the ASEAN Para Games 2022,
To be held in Surakarta, Karanganyar and Semarang, Indonesia from July 30th to August 07, 2022, the 2021 ASEAN Para Games will see 120 Vietnamese athletes competing in 8 sports, supported by 17 coaches.
To celebrate their departure to compete at the Games, the high-spirited ceremony featured speeches from leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigning tasks to the Vietnam Para Sports Team, top athletes expressing their commitment to delivering the best results, and sports and music performances by top para athletes and artists to boost the morale of the Vietnam Para Sports Delegation for the upcoming Para Games.
