Each pattern on the traditional H’Mong costume has its own meaning, mostly emphasizing the harmonization between humans and nature. Extra silver ornaments are worn on festivals, weekly markets and other important events. H’Mong women wear their traditional costume daily, as well, because it is comfortable for hard work and hiking long distances.
