The first electric taxi in Vietnam has been launched

For this segmented market, the next 24 kilometers will cost 15,500 VND/km, and the fare will be 12,500 VND/km from the 26th kilometer.
The taxi company also operated 100 8-color VF vehicles for high-end customers at a fixed price of 21,000 VND/km.

The deputy mayor stated that electric taxi services will continue to develop and are a typical image of the quality of transportation services. Hanoi City always welcomes enterprises producing electric vehicles and promises to support and accompany enterprises using clean energy.
Green Car Electric Taxi is operated by GSM Intelligent and Green Mobile Co., Ltd., and is the first pure electric taxi company in Vietnam. The advantages of this mode of transportation are that it has no gasoline smell, no engine noise environmentally friendly, and the vehicle is equipped with many intelligent entertainment functions. It is also the first taxi company to provide services to high-end customers.
Mr. Thanh Nguyen, General Manager of GSM Company, stated that after deployment in Hanoi, the company will open approximately 10000 electric vehicles in Ho Chi Minh City and three other provinces and cities. This number is quite large because there are currently about 1000 taxi companies in the country with over 67000 cars.
The price of green taxis is higher than that of traditional and technical ones. The operating price of traditional companies is 10000-11000 VND; The next kilometer is 12000 to 15000 VND per kilometer. The open price of technology car manufacturer Grab is higher (29000 VND for the four-seat Grab cars in Hanoi), but the mileage behind it is lower (10000 VND).
