Manchester United Faces Injury Setbacks with Mainoo, Rashford, and Sesko

Manchester United is currently facing significant challenges as three of its key players, Kobbie Mainoo, Marcus Rashford, and Benjamin Sesko, have withdrawn from international duty due to injuries. This comes at a critical time for the club, which has been struggling with consecutive winless matches, putting immense pressure on manager Michael Carrick.

Both Mainoo and Rashford sustained injuries during the recent match against Fulham. According to reports, Mainoo has suffered a muscle injury and is expected to be sidelined for approximately three weeks, coinciding with the international break. Fortunately, he has been allowed to begin recovery training, suggesting that his injury may not be too severe. A fan even captured footage of Mainoo boarding a flight to Faro, Portugal, for a short break.

On the other hand, Rashford is dealing with persistent pain in his groin area, which he experienced while leaving the field against Fulham. While the exact timeline for his recovery remains unclear, he may return within the next two to three weeks. The situation regarding Sesko is more concerning; he has undergone an MRI scan to assess the severity of his leg injury sustained during the match against Brighton. Initial reports suggest that if it is a mild muscle strain, he could be out for one to three weeks. However, if there is a fracture, the recovery could extend to six to eight weeks.

Currently, Manchester United is keeping details about Sesko's condition under wraps. The team is also dealing with other injury concerns, as Carlos Baleba has yet to make his debut since transferring from Brighton, and Amad Diallo remains unavailable due to his ongoing recovery.

As the club navigates these injury challenges, the management is reportedly holding urgent meetings to discuss Carrick's future, as the pressure mounts for him to secure results in the upcoming matches.
