SHB Da Nang Dominates Nam Dinh in V-League Showdown

In the second round of the V-League on September 11, 2026, a shocking result unfolded as SHB Da Nang triumphed over Nam Dinh with a score of 3-0. Meanwhile, Ninh Binh secured a 2-1 victory against Thanh Hoa.

The match at Thiên Trường Stadium was expected to favor Nam Dinh, but they faced a harsh defeat. The turning point of the game came in the 19th minute when Trần Văn Kiên of Nam Dinh received a red card for a foul on Minh Quang of SHB Da Nang, who was in a position to score.

Nam Dinh's troubles escalated early in the second half when Ezequiel Santos Da Silva was sent off in the 54th minute for a serious foul, leaving the team with only nine players. This numerical advantage allowed SHB Da Nang to dominate the match.

In the 59th minute, Hồng Phúc delivered a precise cross that allowed Saponjic to head the ball into the net, giving SHB Da Nang a 1-0 lead. In another match on the same night, newly promoted Bắc Ninh pulled off an upset by defeating the reigning National Cup champions, CLB Công an TPHCM, with a score of 1-0, thanks to a goal from foreign player Brenner.

Additionally, CLB Ninh Bình managed to secure a 2-1 win against Thanh Hoá at home, with Lucao scoring in the 9th minute and Ngọc Mỹ adding another in the 37th minute. Nguyễn Văn Tùng scored a consolation goal for Thanh Hoá in the 76th minute.
