Frosinone Triumphs Over Fiorentina in Serie A Showdown
Frosinone secured a stunning 3-0 victory against Fiorentina, marking a significant milestone for coach

Fabio Grosso, the head coach of Frosinone, addressed the media following his team's match against Fiorentina, where they faced a disappointing outcome. In his post-match conference, Grosso reflected on the mental aspect of the game, stating, "On such a beautiful day, we wanted to do something different. We showed great carelessness, unfortunately. We are very disappointed, and there is a lot of work to do. I told the boys to keep their heads up and try to raise the level."
Grosso noted that while some positive aspects were visible during the match, the team lacked the necessary energy to score and prevent the opponents from doing so. "We have many qualities, and we need to be good at creating a solid structure to support them," he added. He emphasized that although the team displayed some quality, they lacked solidity, stating, "In numbers, this is not a result that should have come out, but we were not clever enough to turn the result in our favor. In the end, we also had little energy left: I am convinced we will complete ourselves."
With the transfer market closing soon, Grosso mentioned the importance of unity within the team. "We look into each other's eyes, and then we will work even harder. It is right that the whistles came, but I also hold on to all the initial applause. We must challenge ourselves and raise the level to achieve more. The fragility we demonstrated at many moments needs to be improved," he stated.
On the defensive front, Grosso stressed the importance of not allowing opponents to gain the upper hand. "Without a strong foundation, qualities remain meaningless. We need to understand as a team that strong foundations start from a solid group," he remarked. He concluded by expressing confidence in the team's ability to improve, stating, "I am convinced we need to improve a lot, but it is reductive to examine just one department. Soon we will know with whom and how we will work. The boys must be good at raising their level because that is where we start to showcase our qualities."
