The Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between the British University Vietnam
This is the second time that the National Economics University and ACCA continue to sign a memorandum of understanding to promote sustainable educational development activities in the coming time. From the very first days in Vietnam, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the National Economics University have had many exchange programs to learn experiences with major universities around the world, educational forums, international conferences, seminars, periodic professional training courses and scholarship programs, career orientation for students.
On the basis of those successes as well as the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Economics University and the British Association of Chartered Accountants signed in 2017, the introduction of the full-time Advanced program in Audit Integrated ACCA Qualification at the Advanced Education Program (AEP) has opened a period of deeper strategic cooperation for both the university and the association, helping students in, addition to mastering academic knowledge to be able to apply in different fields of work, they also have access to and learn practical content & how to apply it to the real world while pursuing a professional international qualification such as ACCA.
To raise the cooperation between the two sides to a higher and more comprehensive level, the National Economics University and ACCA signed an extension of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The content of this MoU re-signing this time, in addition to expanding the existing cooperation activities between the two Parties, the most important new content was introduced related to the agreement to enhance the internationalization and professionalism of the university's training programs.
Attending this signing ceremony, there were also special participation of the leaders of relevant departments, one of which was the presence of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, one of 6 first individuals to receive the title of Honorary Member of ACCA in 2011 in recognition of his great contributions to the development of the accounting and auditing industry in Vietnam.
According to the cooperation agreement between the two parties, ACCA will support the university's lecturers to improve their professional competence, develop lesson plan and provide information on training and research in the fields of accounting, auditing and finance. From there, the teaching staff will be constantly updated with new knowledge and trends in the industry, constantly improving the quality of teaching.
For students, ACCA will regularly support them to access scholarships, skills training, international student exchanges, financial support and business connections. Along with owning ACCA certificates early, these will be solid stepping stones to help students fully practice skills, gain experience, and expand career opportunities in the future.
